Assisting With Setup & Organization:

  • Ensuring equipment and cables are properly connected and functional.

  • Arranging microphones, headphones, instruments, etc., as per instructions.

  • Maintaining a clean and organized studio space by ensuring that all equipment and recording rooms are cleaned before and after each session.


Operating Equipment:

  • Managing signal flow and routing audio correctly.

  • Operating Digital Audio Workstations such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro X, Cubase, Studio One and/or Reaper.


Assisting During Recording & Post-Production Sessions:

  • Setting up microphones for artists or bands according to the engineer's guidance.

  • Monitoring headphone mixes for musicians during recording sessions.

  • Troubleshooting technical issues that may arise during sessions.

  • Editing tracks according to the engineer’s specific guide lines


General Studio Maintenance:

  • Keeping detailed records of equipment inventory and ensuring regular maintenance checks are performed.

  • Troubleshooting technical issues with hardware or software.

  • Coordinating repairs or replacements when necessary.


Researching New Techniques & Trends:

  • Staying updated on industry trends, new technologies, and techniques in music production.

  • Providing insights on innovative approaches that could benefit the studio's operations.


Flexibility With Schedule:

  • Adapting to changes in the schedule to accommodate last-minute recording sessions or client requests.

  • Being reachable and ready to assist with technical issues or emergencies.

  • Responding promptly to requests or troubleshooting problems when necessary.
