TERMS & CONDITIONS
BOOKING & SESSION HOLDS
Session dates and times are first come, first served. A booking is only secured once payment has been received.
Invoices must be paid within 24 hours of being sent unless otherwise agreed. Unpaid invoices beyond the 24 hour hold period may result in the session time being released without notice.
STUDIO TOURS
Studio tours are available by appointment only.
A $25 studio tour fee is required to schedule a tour. This ensures availability does not interfere with active client bookings and studio operations.
The studio tour fee will be credited toward the client’s first booked session of 3 or more hours if a session is scheduled within 30 days of the tour date.
Tour availability is limited and intended for artists and clients seriously considering booking services with the studio.
Walk-throughs without a scheduled tour appointment are not available.
STUDIO TIME
Session time begins and ends at the scheduled time.
Client lateness does not extend or prorate booked time.
Early arrival does not guarantee additional studio time.
Be courteous to other clients and scheduled bookings.
Studio time includes but is not limited to:
session prep, setup and tear down, tracking, editing, media downloads, file transfer, and session wrap.
Mixing and mastering are not included in standard tracking session time or block hours unless explicitly agreed upon in advance as part of a project quote.
Rough mixing may be possible during a session if time allows. Clients expecting a completed or near completed mix should ensure adequate time remains within their booked session. Recording multiple songs without allowing time for mixing will limit what can be completed before the session ends.
Projects requiring detailed editing, mixing, post-production, or mastering should schedule dedicated time to ensure proper attention and quality results.
Clients are strongly encouraged to bring a mobile storage device with all necessary session media to reduce transfer and download time during sessions. AirDrop is supported for compatible devices.
Any time required for downloading session materials, transferring files, extracting online audio, or organizing client provided media is considered part of the booked session time. Arriving prepared ensures the most efficient use of scheduled studio hours.
Same day or last minute sessions may be available at a premium hourly rate based on engineer availability.
PAYMENT, RESCHEDULING, & CANCELLATION
Advance payment in full is required to secure any studio session or service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
All booked sessions and services are non refundable.
Rescheduling with more than 24 hours notice
If a client needs to reschedule a session with more than 24 hours notice, the payment may be credited one time toward a future session. This credit must be used within a reasonable timeframe based on studio availability.
Rescheduling with less than 24 hours notice
Any session rescheduled by the client with less than 24 hours notice will result in forfeiture of the session payment. No exceptions.
No show policy
A client more than 30 minutes late without communication will be considered a no show.
The session will be cancelled and payment forfeited.
Repeated rescheduling
A session that has already been rescheduled once remains eligible for future credited use; however, any additional reschedule requests will result in the credited session becoming eligible for use no sooner than 45 days from the most recent rescheduled date.
This policy exists to prevent frequent calendar changes that impact studio availability for other bookings while ensuring the client retains the value of their credited session.
Same day cancellations
Same day cancellations are treated as a no show and payment is forfeited.
Guest policy
Sessions are for scheduled artists and essential personnel only.
Clients may bring a reasonable number of guests, not to exceed four total people unless approved in advance by the studio.
The studio reserves the right to refuse entry or ask any guest to leave if they are disruptive, intoxicated, interfering with the session, or creating an unsafe or unproductive working environment.
If a session is significantly disrupted due to client or guest behavior, the studio reserves the right to end the session without refund.
Booking confirmation
Any payment made confirms agreement to all booking terms and studio policies.
FILES, MEDIA, & STORAGE
All media remains the property of the studio until all balances are paid in full.
No mixes, masters, or project files will be released until all outstanding balances are cleared.
Mixes and masters are delivered electronically unless otherwise arranged. If physical media is requested, the client must supply appropriate blank media.
Additional versions such as instrumentals, clean edits, stems, alternate bounces, or revisions beyond the agreed scope must be scheduled and billed accordingly.
The studio will retain session files for up to 60 days after project completion. After this period, files may be permanently deleted without notice.
Clients are responsible for backing up all delivered files. The studio is not responsible for lost, corrupted, or deleted data once files have been delivered or the retention period has expired.
Full multitrack session files are not provided unless agreed upon in advance. Any requested data transfers, exports, or session preparation are billed at the studio’s hourly rate.
STUDIO CONDUCT
Respect the space, staff, other clients that may be in the building and equipment at all times.
Smoking is not permitted inside studio rooms. Smoking is allowed only in designated outdoor areas.
Vaping is permitted respectfully and NOT around studio equipment such as microphones.
Anyone visibly ill may be asked to reschedule at the studio’s discretion.
EQUIPMENT & LIABILITY
Clients are financially responsible for any damage caused by themselves or their guests to studio equipment or property.
Repair or replacement costs will be billed to the client. No files or media will be released until damage balances are paid in full.
The studio is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal property brought to sessions.
The studio is not liable for delays or interruptions due to circumstances beyond its control including but not limited to power outages, equipment failure, severe weather, emergencies, or acts of God.
